Jessica graduated from Keele University in 2010 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. From there she went on to work in private practice for a sports and injury specialist, developing her skills in the musculoskeletal field. After two years she joined Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust as a rotational junior physiotherapist, developing her core physiotherapy skills further before leaving in 2014 to join Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist. At present, Jessica is working part-time for Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust as the musculoskeletal team lead for the Worcester and Droitwich area.
She has successfully completed a MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy and set up PhysiotheraPET in 2017, allowing her to work privately with a variety of both large and small animals. Jessica has completed several other post-graduate courses as part of her CPD, including foundation training to become an acupuncturist and to use hippotherapy as a treatment modality.
Jessica has a keen interest in animals – particularly horses! She has ridden since a very young age and currently has four horses, two dogs, two cats and six chickens!
